The Trunk (1961)
“The Trunk”, a low-budget British mystery film released in 1961, is directed by Donovan Winter and features a monochromatic palette. ouble brews when Lisa marries Henry, a British lawyer. Enter Stephen, Lisa’s jealous ex-boyfriend, who concocts a sinister plan. He convinces Lisa that she has inadvertently killed Diane, her husband’s former flame. In a desperate bid to keep Stephen quiet and dispose of the supposed corpse, Lisa hands over hush money. But fate takes a dark turn when Diane’s other ex-lover, Nicholas, witnesses their clandestine exchange.
