School Day Of The Dead

Post by DylanDog »

This movie was more fun than I thought it would be, playing out in the style of a classic 1800s mystery. A school legend may hold more than anyone is aware of and the daughter of the school art teacher is drawn into the mystery by a play written by another student who committed suicided shortly afterwards. Seems this play may contain the truth about the legend from 80 years before and the faculty are opposed to it being performed. Murder, blackmail, scandal, love and a cult/secret society add layers to the story. Though I have a couple minor cripes with the movie (such as the cult's appearance, which seemed only for visual effect), I liked the movie for the most part. Nothing brilliant mind you, but a good time.
