Midsommar

Post by Chris Slack »

While not quite on the level of Aster's debut, "MIdsommar" brought the dread. The plot was fairly simplistic but the atmosphere was seriously thick. The score and cinematography helped with that immensely. I'll definitely be buying this for home viewing.

I heartily concur. This one had me cringing before anything nasty actually happened. One can say WICKER MAN all one wants, but that does NOT substitute for viewing the actual film.
