Hell yeah. My Atari 2600 still works great. My NES still works, but I had to replace the cartridge connector piece several years ago.Morbid wrote:All of these damn new gen. system's sure are fucked up.
Oh yeah, and the games one the NES are every bit as fun to play as any modern console game.... Well except for maybe Super Monkey Ball on the Gamecube. :-)

AMEN TO THAT! If my brother didn't take his NES when he moved out I'd still be playing those classics. Who could turn down Kung Fu or ExciteBike!??!?!?!Adremelech wrote: Oh yeah, and the games one the NES are every bit as fun to play as any modern console game....
However, I still whip out the SNES every now and then. I don't have that many "classics" on it, but shit, Ken Griffey Jr. MLB is always a great play, same with A Link to the Past!

360 #3 crapped out in under a year, ring of death. Fortunately the warranty on it will cover the replacement/repairs yet again. I wonder if I will ever get one that will make it a full year? Powerful system, Live is awesome and the games are great. I just wish the fucking thing would be more reliable.

Coffin arrived today and will be sent off tomorrow. I am currently using a loaner console from work that I got the day this one died. I didn't realize that MS could loan equipment to their "partners." Fucking cool of them if you ask me, I didn't have to go a day without gaming
There are still more good games on the 360. Backwards compatability doesn't count either, who the hell wants to play old games? Well, I do play one which is Links for the Xbox 1. I am still waiting for a good next gen golf game and Tiger Woods (yes, I have the latest one) doesn't do it for me.
