Ghost of the Needle

Post by DylanDog »

One of my infrequent viewings lately was this underground Atlanta film about a guy who takes pictures of dead chicks. I found it surprisingly enjoyable despite some amateurish acting. It features probably one of the more inept serial killers you'll see in a movie. He does his work in a big old warehouse and people are constantly just walking in on him. This exchange happens about 5 times in the movie:

killer: "How did you get in here?!!?"

intruder :"The door was open."

Most of the movie is pretty tame though it does get a bit gruesome towards the end and there is even a decent scare or two. No masterpiece, but a nice effort that's worth a rental.
"This must be settled the way nature intended...with a vicious, bloody fight!!"

Hilarious. Reminds me of those moments of incidental comedy that made TED BUNDY so endearing.
