RIP The Hurricane Cafe

Post by Jonathan »

I think it was the first or second "SMO" meeting site. 98? 99? 00? I went there with my Torsion vocalist Arnie. Met a ton of good people and fellow metal musicians.

It was also the venue where I first met the guys in Myiasis & Semisis! Kevin, Pat, Jarrod, Doug, Jody and Brad.

Sad to see it go. But honestly, I haven't been there in like 10 years. RIP

Apparently, Chop Suey has just closed down as well. My former band Grievous filmed a video there. Again, it's been like 10 years since Ive been there, and I live down the street.
