Dead Ringer (1963)
The movie revolves around twin sisters, Edith Phillips and Margaret de Lorca. Edith, the working-class sister, impulsively murders her wealthy twin out of revenge and assumes her identity. However, impersonating her dead sister turns out to be more complicated and risky than she anticipated. As Edith navigates her new life, she faces challenges from her late sister’s sleazy boyfriend and a Los Angeles detective who loved the “dead” Edith. The film delves into deception, secrets, and the consequences of assuming another person’s life.
