This is a collection of the very deceptive media campaign from the 1963 retitling of "Bayou" (1957) as "Poor White Trash" in the Pacific Northwest. This retiling landed me in Facebook jail when I posted about it before.

Bayou (1957)
Martin, a New York architect, visits the Cajun country in Louisiana for a project. He falls in love with Marie, a beautiful and ambitious local girl who wants to escape her rural life. However, their romance is threatened by Ulysses, a violent and possessive storekeeper who claims Marie as his own. Martin and Marie must overcome the cultural clash and Ulysses’ wrath to find happiness together.
