Die Hard 4

Post by RockMyMonkey »

Like any Die Hard movie, you really have to unplug your brain because this movie has nothing to do with reality. It's all about blowing shit up. The tech is way better then say Hackers or Swordfish, but like the rest of the movie far from reality.

If you enjoy tons of explosions and the escapism of a big budget epic, then you will love this movie. If you expect a believable plot and realism throughout, wait for one of those depressing "indie" films.

lol. I enjoyed this flick. Lotsa explosions and inventive ways to kill people, plus, well placed chuckles. It was just what this gal needed. :)

I was going to go see 'Sicko', but decided that fairly mindless, brute force violence and having shit get blown all to shit MUCH better suited my mood today. Yeah, not the most unique film, but it was just what I wanted. I liked it.

Saw this on a double bill with TF last night. It was fun, but I agree, it would pretty silly at times. I was with a buddy of mine too who actually worked on the design of a couple of those planes and he said they simply didn't do some of the things they were shown doing (apparently they were shooting bullets out of where the engines are or some shit like that, and wouldn't spiral down like it did, etc.. ). No big deal to me, but it sort of irked him a little. Still, I never seen a truck in an elevator before so that counts for something in my book.

Yeah, that is what makes the Die Hard movies so great. They are so far from any form of reality that it is hilarious. Some of the best mindless entertainment around. :D

It's fucking DIE HARD! If it was believable it would be some other movie. Die Hard I was the shit. Die Hard II wasn't all that great. Die Hard III was bad ass just for the Samuel L Jackson character...

But this one... this one simply ruled all of them. Bruce single handedly took out a jet, a freeway, a helicopter, flew one, a semi, an elevator and a crazy asian chick! This movie fucking ruled!
Take a picture, trick. I'm on a boat, bitch.

I'll see Sicko with you. Let me know where and I'm there, and drunk, because I think I'd have to be.

I'd let Bruce fondle me and tell me it's our little secret. But I draw the line at taking it up the ass.

Yeah,I saw it and thought it was fun(even if it's PG-13 and gets a lil' too Schwarzenegger-esque[that Bruce vs. the jet sequence]),but both Parts 1 and 2("Die harder")still rule(and easily stand over this one).
