You beat me to it. Both in posting and in submitting a short comment in place of a full review.

I was going to say:

Oh, yeah.

It's good.

Go.

I loved it and I am a grumpy bastard that hates everything so thats a big compliment. So now that we have his origin established I'd like to see the next movie so now instead of setting everything up the whole movie would be dedicated to Batman Vs Villian (No spoilers here boyeeeee)

Sorry--just have to throw this out there. I can't imagine a better double bill playing anywhere this year. Not the compatibility of the movies, mind you, but the way the titles flow.

According to the drive-in marquee, there's a very intriguing new production out there known as...

"BATMAN BEGINS KICKING AND SCREAMING."

Saw it twice and loved it.

Went to the IMAX on Friday and I have to say even if you have already seen the flick.

Go see it at the IMAX, bad ass.

Even my brother, Jigalo loved it and he is one of those guys who knows every detail to the Batman story.

He was jazzed through the whole flick.

Hopfully, they have all the same actors sign on like Lord Of The Rings for awhile so they make the same mistake like the other Batmans.

Batman Begins was a good movie, but I was disappointed with it. So we're supposed to believe that Liam Neeson and his ninja buddies are responsible for the destruction of major cities that have gotten too big for their britches? That explains everything. Not. And the Scarecrow's defeat, while amusing, was very dissatisfying. Good action, decent back story, Christian Bale makes a good Batman, always great to see Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman, and the Batmobile rules. The microwave emitter and that whole deal just seemed lame and forced, and Neeson's character wasn't necessary. The two Michael Keaton movies are better.
I have to return some videotapes.

This one actually turned out a lot better than I hoped it would. It's no SPIDER-MAN or X-MEN but it still was a lot better than the previous two BATMAN films. Fine cast and performances all around. I'll say this is the best one since BATMAN RETURNS. If they do decide to make a franchise from this prequel, I hope they keep Christopher Nolan on board.

I'm having a hard time finding words for this movie. I rank it up there with Spiderman 2, Sin City and X-Men 2 as best examples of a comic book movie. It took the previous movies and flushed them, even the goth-chic Burton movies, and left behind pure post-Frank Miller Batman. While the first two were a unique take on the character and the others as examples of how Hollywood doesn't understand shit, the newest brings the character back to the core.

Few people brood like Christian Bale and American Psycho proved that he could do Bruce Wayne posessed by the spirit of Ted Bundy. He's natural as Bruce Wayne and fits the batsuit well, even if his batvoice is kind of silly.

As a matter of fact, everyone portrayed their characters to the letter. Michael Caine as Alfred takes a little getting used to, but I suppose it works. Even Gary Oldman as Comissioner Gordon isn't as weird as it sounds. Who knew?

I found the action scenes to be a little hard to follow at times as it's typical American-style action editing hard at work. Lots of single frame cuts, the usual suspects of American action scenes. However, one of the highest points in the movie is the Bruce/Ducard showdown during Bruce's initiation. Hypnotic doesn't even begin to explain it.

I didn't really care for the Batmobile photos when they hit the net. An armor plated Lamborghini Diablo doesn't really fit the mold to me, but the car chase scene was fucking amazing.

I coudln't possibly end this without mentioning the fear gas scenes. Very creepy. Extremely creepy.

the movie was fucking great...but...stupidest "batmobile" I have ever seen in my whole fucking life. I loved Gary Oldman, amazing as Gordon.
