The Omen

Post by Kimberly »

So... I guess I'll start

Mind you I find the original to be a complete bore... except for the decap scene... which has to be one of THE best decap scenes EVER...

So, with that, I found the remake to be just as lame... and I was fighting at times to keep my eyes open. You know what the best part of the movie was?

Seeing the trailer for this...

Borat Movie The man is fucking hillarious!! Borat has to be my favorite character he does... NICE!! I LIKE!!

Borat looks hilarious!!

I have to disagree on the Omen though. I LOVED it. It was a good mix of gore, jumps, and more intelligent, drawn out horror. People were jumping, screaming and cheering through the entire movie, I was right there with them! :metal:

I'm with you on that, and I'm really picky about horror movies... especially remakes.... but I've yet to see the original (damn video rental store is always out) :( so I can't really compare.... hmm...

Im very picky too. It has been a LONG time since I saw the original and don't really remember enough to compare. It had that older feel to some of it though, in a good way. I will have to Netflix it! Gotta love Netflix!

That statement alone makes me want to go see this:dsmoke:

I liked it. I wasn't jumping and screaming like the audience was but all in all I thought it was cool. The pacing stayed true to the original it was a more literate piece than your average remake.
