This dude checked into a hotel in his home town, what does that tell ya. Its not like that he was in there writing the next War and Peace novel or anything. Ya'know, this is what I don't get. There are plenty of great or even famously mediocre musicians and actors and whatnot that, no matter what their talent level, they turn out to be junkies. Now, there are plenty of really famous musicians that were able to maintain their careers and junkie habits, but eventually, the shit wears them out and they end up like Layne Stayley or Jimi Hendrix or this fool.
If you have the world in the palm of your hand, and everyone wants to lick the ground you walk on, why waste yourself on stupid death drug bullshit? Is it really that important? If you have a kid on the way, and you are totally full of the pride that goes with that, why poke your arm with poison and take that chance that it's gong to be the last thing you do?
