It's not a hip hop venue, it's an all music venue just like S7, the King Kat Theatre and many other venues around town only it's T I N Y.Irrylath wrote:chop suey is a hip hop club?!?! is this a new developement?
The smallest club I've EVER seen in my life was alive & well in Pioneer Square when I first moved to the area in 1997, and it was called...metalgrrl wrote:It's not a hip hop venue, it's an all music venue just like S7, the King Kat Theatre and many other venues around town only it's T I N Y.
I don't remember RCKNDY being that small, but then again, I'm not that big to begin with. I do remember some of my favorite punk shows there though, and bugging Lori Lefavor to let us (Casualties Of Power) play there. By far the nastiest bathrooms this city has ever seen in a club, even more than some others in Pioneer Square that shall remain nameless.BigHurknFrontman wrote:The smallest club I've EVER seen in my life was alive & well in Pioneer Square when I first moved to the area in 1997, and it was called...
RCKNDY
Anyone else remember this fucking linen closet of a club?
LOL how true, how true! I so forgot about the hurricane aka the dog houseScott (S2C) wrote:And if you want small, Try the Hurricane Cafe when they were doing shows, or the Galway Arms in the U-District. Makes both Chop Suey and RCKNDY look like Stadiums!
Exactly. I've seen several bands play there. I really like Chop Suey. It's intimate if it's packed, but I've gone to much smaller places to see bands. I wish more bands would play there, frankly.
