So... it's 2009, what is going on with everyone's band this year? Updates. Shows. CD's. Etc.

Funeral Age will be releasing our long awaited second album. It was recorded at Two Sticks Audio in Shoreline, WA with Donn Gunn. We have just finished mixing it, I have yet to hear it, but our Guitarist is totally orgasming over how it has turned out.

We have also started writing new music, and from the few riffs we have jammed on, the new stuff will be very intense.

The Vish Skinflute Orchestra is going to be putting out an album called "Fapstravaganza!" and will be playing regular shows to the audience of redtube streams.

We're not a Seattle band... but if we were, I'd mention that we're scraping money together to get our CD mastered so we can hopefully release it in 3 months. But we're not a Seattle band, so you didn't hear nothin'.

yep... I gotta say, it seems like you are just posting these things now to update us souly for your bands promotion. I mean only you start these threads on here and TMS. I mean, fuck, not trying to mr. obvious, but come on John. See capitalized the J in your name. Anyways, updating us on what you already told us a month ago won't do nearly as much as actually showing us improvements. Like actually releasing the material, having more than just one show in three months, and not even showing up to it, whether is no excuse. And sorry to be a dick, I just had to say my two cents, have a nice day sir.

It seems there are rumors that S2C will be opening for L.A.Guns Jan 31st at studio 7......... COULD be some truth to them...

Circle of Force is working with our new drummer, doing pre-production on our first full length album. We are also wanting to book more shows but scheduling conflicts right now only allows us to play on a saturday or sunday severly limiting our options. Hopefully in the next couple of months the scheduling will be resolved.

Yeah, we're gonna try to make it back to Eugene too. Actually, thinking of booking a full tour around Pita Pit locations... no playing though, just eating. I figure if we all jump around and I give enough people the finger it'll be pretty close to a live S2C show anyway, just without loading gear in and out.... I wonder if Pita Pit will cover our guarantee tho....lol

Saturday Jan 10th at The Bit in Ballard with Arsenal Way and Unkaged, I think the cover's $5
Friday Jan 16th at Waldo's with PC Load Letter and this completely homosexual band y'all may know, Dissonance. Cover's like $7 maybe??? Fuck I dunno.
We're also workin hard on our 2nd album, so look for that in like 2013 or so.

I will be relocating to the Seattle area early this March where I will amass a band of musicians with talent the likes of which have never been seen. Very quickly we will become the area's PREMIER death metal/country western/easy listening extravaganza and will record our breakthrough demo, "Reigney Day Sabbath Bloody Sunday" in July. Surely, after a fierce bidding war among the world's elitist of major label record companies, we will be signed by year's end. After a brief break over the holidays (Merry X-Mas, everyone!) we'll enter Electric Ladyland Studios in January 2010 to begin the recording process of our eagerly awaited, debut album tentatively titled "There's A Tear In My Achy Breaky Skull Full Of Maggots". The release date for said debut will be May 12th 2010. Of course you're saying "Lee, new releases come out on Tuesdays and the 12th is a Wednesday!?". Well, my friends, to satisfy your query, we will be so damn brutally cool that the world will gladly wait the extra day for a record release of this magnitude. Subsequent, world domination touring to follow beginning in June.
