Duran Duran tickets on Sale Saturday

Post by Kat »

Yep, that's right, 10am Saturday the 15th of January. The concert is March 9 at the Everett Events Center. Got my tix already thru the fan website, and I'm going to see them in Sacramento March 1 as well.

Anybody been to a concert at the Everett Events Center? My tix are on the floor, with the stage at one end.

I plan on being there too! I can't help it, I LOVE Duran Duran! Simon is still one sexy bitch too - mmmm, those lips! :p

The EEC is an OK place to see a show...floor seats should be pretty good for this.

I really hope it goes well. TV appearances lately seem to be OK, and I like the new album, so, see you guys there!

I love Duran Duran, but I don't know if I want to spend that much on tickets. Sounds like I should pick up the new disc, though. :)

Wow! Nice relief to see that people share my same cheese-ball taste in music! I almost saw them last year when they were playing in A/C but it was last minute and the ticket price was a little steep (100 bucks I think).. I like the new album, finally some of their songs make sense. What the fuck was the REFLEX about? One will never know..

Personally I'd rather be seeing R.E.M. but I missed the boat on that one. U2 was canned because of mysterious family medical reasons, a rumor is floating around that EDGE'S daughter has cancer, hope that's not true.

I was fortunate to see PETER GABRIEL a few years back (was it that long ago?) what an amazing show. Also saw Alanis Moriessette, the woman I once wanted to marry but has now been taken by Ryan Renolds, soon to be of the new "Amityville Horror" fame. Bastard! Guess I'll have to keep wacking off to her posters. Did I just say what I think I said?

Out of curiousty, what other NON METAL bands do people like here?

I think tix are anywhere from around $45-$90. And yes, the disc is super cool, Carrie, fun to listen to in the car!

Did you get tickets, Kat?

I drove by their bus on the way home from work Thursday! It was a really nice tour bus white with Duran Duran professionally painted all over the bus in a hot pink maroonish color. I slowed down, honked, rolled down my moonroof, and waved at them. :devildoll

They play Spokane tonight, then a date or two in Canada before coming to play Everett on Wednesday. I'm still thinking about getting tickets.
