Originally he was just an easter egg, but then they gave him a back story...I think there are like 4 different versions of Sub Zero.Morbid wrote:But i was reading mortal kombat stuff, and it said that Noob Saibot (aka Boon Tobias) is the original Sub Zero (since he died).

Really? I would have thought it was because the game was produced by Ed Boon and John Tobias...

I would have to give it some thought. The way Capt. Howdy goes out in Strangeland was pretty awesome. The spinning head decap from Sleepy Hollow was pretty great too. As was the Johnny Depp blood fountain from Nightmare on Elm Street.

There was decent continuity in the Jason flicks up until 7. The first 4 tell a cohesive story that ends with Jason getting killed by Tommy. The 5th one was a stumble that didn't even have Jason in it (kinda like Halloween Season of the Witch). And then in the 5th one, that crazy dumbass Tommy resurr...

It's a doorstop, man. You probably won't be able to get any money for it. You can probably buy games for it on ebay, people usually sell old school games in lots, so you can score like a dozen games for around 50 bucks or so.
Or you can see how far you can throw it.

ha ha he was on O and A the other day and talking to Kevin Smith for like 20 minutes and thought it was O and A until they finally told him that he was talking to Kevin. It was actually pretty funny, even for a bunch of Stern rip-offs. Yeah, I got sent that link. The only thing I like about O and A...

Kevin Smith is a fanboy. He makes movies for fanboys. How many other movie makers have such close interaction with their fans via the internet? How many directors have a whole store full of merchandise related to their products, all of which can be purchased with autographs on them? This movie has b...

Did he walk out 'cause he was offended, or because it sucks? Smith has been going downhill FAST since Dogma, and in fact, has been going downhill since about the second half of Dogma. He walked out in disgust reacting to a scene involving a *MILD SPOILER ALERT* graphic description of a woman having...

Joel Siegel walks out of Clerks 2 screening...
...not only did he walk out, but he was very vocal as he did so. At the 40 minute mark he exclaimed how he had had enough, and how it was the first movie he walked out of in 30 years of reviewing. What a professional.
I can't wait to see this one.

That game was designed for PSP. If you played it on that, don't bother. It is a big step backward from San Andreas. It is more like GTA3, and the graphics aren't up to par with SA.
It is only 20 bucks tho, so if you don't already have it on PSP, you don't have too much to lose.

I can't believe I added the apostrophe in the actual movie title. I am really not that kind of a snob. I do add the apostrophe when referring to the holiday, but I wouldn't do it for the movie, normally. It was early. Fuck you.

Dunno if they are gonna refer to this one as part 9. From what I have read, this is more of a remake/revisioning of the events that happened prior to part 2. Should be interesting at least. I am not such a Hallowe'en purist that I would be pissed at a remake. The only John Carpenter movies that are ...

I like that Sonny is getting more play with American cinema. I guess we have Quentin to thank for that too. I didn't even know who he was until I saw True Romance back in the day. His role in Kill Bill was wicked too.

Yeah, I should probably do that anyway, as I find myself getting more and more DVDs. I found this version on another website that lists it as region 1, so I went ahead and got it. If it isn't region 1, I'm sure that will be enough to prompt me to get a region free player. Any recommendations? The on...

Question about The Street Fighter on DVD...
So I found a killer deal on a box set of all the Street Fighter movies, but according to Amazon, the region is unknown. Does anyone here know what region these versions are? I wouldn't wanna buy them and then be disappointed in not being able to watch them.
