Finally watched this last night (along with Ring: Spiral and Bangkok Haunted) and I have to say like the other two I've seen it totally delivers on the creepiness!! I can totally see where people would get lost watching it. Hell my friend and I were having a hard time keeping track of everyone. It t...

Just got in from seeing it and I have to say I really enjoyed it. As it was mentioned in the other Dawn thread... aside from the title and the fact that they are held up in a mall... that's really about it in common with the original. It held my attention from begining to end... lots of splatter... ...

Nice review of this film...

I watched it last night and found it to be very engaging to watch. The thing that surprised me the most was the lack of pyhsical/DNA evidence... especially when it came time for Jesse and the case against him. Really interesting movie!

STILL haven't seen The Grudge. There was a mix up on my order and was sent a copy of the first V Cinema version of JuOn (which I already have). However I did get the sequel to the V Cineama one... JuOn 2: The Curse. The first part of it is like a recap of the first one. Little more detail in explain...

I loved the idea for Suicide Club... however when throwing random things in it like Genesis and his musical number... when it's got like zero to do with the movie and it's soooooooo way different then the actual movie... I dunno it just really ruined it for me. Don't get me wrong I laughed my ass of...

Suicide Club

No sir, I didn't like it... I thought it started off great, then it just fell apart imo. It wasn't like watching Kairo where sure it doesn't make sense but the creepy images made it more like a nightmare if anything. Suicide Club made me feel as if I was watching two different movies and I had no cl...

Studio Warns Kung Fu Site

You know... maybe if they would stop pushing movies fucking back and cutting them... then there wouldn't be a need to seek out uncut/complete versions from places outside the US.

BTW... Hero is flat out the most gorgeous movie I've ever seen

In the December 1st issue of Time there is a nice article on Return of the King. There's a little overview of some of the things that were cut from the film, not filmed, etc... This is taken from that article... Jackson filmed a scene for The Two Towers in which Wormtongue kills the traitorous wizar...

Big Fish

Really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't your typical "dark" Tim Burton film... and yet was a typical Burton film filled with quirky and odd characters here and there. Alot of laughs and tears... it really was just a nice film.

Kairo

Creepy little movie, loaded with atmosphere. Gave me chills here and there but... what was it about?! I know there's ghosts and a forbidden room... and people killing themselves... and where did everyone go?! Everytime they gave some hokey fanokey reasoning about things going on I would say to mysel...
