Zatoichi

I've never seen any of the original so I can't compare... Does anyone know if there is an uncut version or if 116min. is the actual running time... because I have some problems with the end. ******* SPOILER ******* When the masseur wipes out Ogi's men... the two left run off saying that they are goi...

Uzumaki... Started watching it... but it was late and there was alot going on so I'll get around to watching it later on this week. So far so good... some interesting visuals to it.

Napolean Dynamite

Kinda reminded me of Welcome to the Dollhouse but not as mean spirited and alot funnier. Napolean is a kid who lives with his grandmother and 31 year old brother. His grandmother gets into an ATV accident and while she's in the hospital their Uncle Rico comes to live with them. His friend Pedro I th...

Metallica Some Kind of Monster

Went this past weekend to see it... Joe Berlinger was there to present the film. He really didn't have much to add. Said that the group gave them creative freedom and didn't cut the film. It was a bit too long I thought... was 2 1/2 hours. I really liked the film and I can't say I'm a fan of theirs....

Stepford Wives

Just got back from a screening of it. I've not seen the original so I can't compare the two. It was alright, a few laughs. I'm glad I didn't have to pay to see it. IMO it's a rental... unless you got a theater around you that has matinee prices and you have nothing better to see.

My boyfriend and I went to see this the other day and we both really liked it. Thought it was beautiful to look at... a little slow in pacing but a great movie all the same. As far as the ending goes... well, there was a collective gasp from the entire audience. Really glad I got around to seeing it...

I'll pretend I didn't read that :(

Besides... it can't be as bad as Brother was and that's my least favorite film of Beat's.

Memento Mori and The Isle

Memento Mori... strange little lesbian school girl ghost story of sorts. Little slow at first and I found it a little confusing at first to follow... Girl finds a diary of two fellow classmates who are lesbians. She becomes intrigued with the diary and gets sucked into their relationship (no not in ...

While I liked it... it just wasn't Vol 1 IMO. I needed more ass kicking. One of my favorite parts was...

The trailer for Hero.... w00t!!!

Actually, I loved her training with Pai Mei... especailly one little spot that's lifted from Fist of the White Lotus.
