Re: Mad Max: Fury Road

All I can say is that this was FREAKING AWESOME. A turbo charged thrill ride that reeked of blood, sweat and bio diesel. I hope to catch it again within the next few weeks, I want to check out the 3D version.

Re: Ex Machina

Very, very good film. It kind of reminded me of the Korean film "Natural City" but it has been a long time since i have seen it so I could be completely wrong. Regardless I really enjoyed this one!

Seems like they only do a show every year or two. Clark living in Idaho has a great deal to do with that. You snooze, you lose :)

Re: 2014 in review

Always my favorite post of the year, thanks for keeping the tradition going Remo! Here are my brief thoughts on some of my favorite 2014 films, I am sure there are some that I am missing but since I let my log slide I am just not sure. The Raid 2 - This entry in the series elevated the action of the...

I loved this film. I think I know exactly what you were talking about when you mentioned easy shock value but I won't spoil it for anyone.

Re: 2013 in review

Thanks Remo, great read! Here's my best of, not much horror but whatever :) 10. Star Trek – Into Darkness – Even with the most emotional moment lifted from “The Wrath of Khan” the film was more than enough to satisfy this Star Trek Fan. 9. The Motel Life – Heavy thriller about two brothers who are f...

Re: The World's End

I finally got to see this and it was awesome. I liked it better than "Hot Fuzz" and almost as much as "Shaun of the Dead." I saw more of myself in Gary's friends and how they reacted to him. I know a few Gary Kings and don't know exactly how I would handle it if they showed up at my doorstep :)

Re: STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS

All I need to say is that if you enjoyed the first one you'll like this one. The 3D conversion was great, much more than just depth. The sound and screen size at the IMAX theater I saw it in added a lot too. Just go see it!

Definitely the weakest of the series but still worth the matinee price to me.
